As the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games approach, performance and high-level competition resonate more than ever in the capital. It’s the perfect opportunity to draw parallels between sport and esports, where the commonalities are greater than one might think.
About it
High-performance sport takes place on the field—but even more so off it. All the mental and physical preparation, the intense hours of training repeating the same movements, the unseen dedication and unwavering determination are finally brought to light through this brand content series.
While this side of the journey often remains hidden for professional athletes, it’s even more so for esports players—who are just as immersed in the demands of elite competition. And it’s clear that the parallels between sport and esport are more numerous than we might think.
